Luxury Boarding
A calm, home-based alternative to busy kennels. At The Dog House, your dog—or your whole pack—stays with me in a quiet, low-stress environment. I only board one household at a time, so your dogs get all the attention and care without the overwhelm of unfamiliar dogs. They’ll sleep indoors, hang out on the couch, and enjoy a routine that feels more like home. Crates are optional for dogs who can safely be loose, and I’m with them most of the day to keep things relaxed and comfortable.
We are located in Broadalbin, NY. Most people say "where's that?" or "I've never heard of that.". We are 30 minutes form Saratoga, 45 minutes from Albany and Schenectady. We have many boarding clients who travel an hour to use our service because they know they can trust the care and attention their dog will receive here. It's truly a home away from home for our client's dogs. Your dog will be treated and loved like a family member during their stay.
Please note: This service is VERY popular and I am often booking months out. Please put in a request well in advance when possible.

What Makes My Boarding Different?
This isn’t a crowded kennel or a loud daycare. At The Dog House, your dog stays in a real home with a real person—me. I only board one household at a time, so there’s no chaos, no over-stimulation, and no strangers. Whether your dog prefers lounging on the couch or sniffing around the yard, I tailor their stay to match their routine and personality. It’s quiet, cozy, and designed to feel like home. This is the perfect set up for dogs who maybe struggle with reactivity, or fear based behaviors.

Why Dogs Love It Here
There’s no barking chorus, no concrete floors, and no being left alone for hours on end. At The Dog House, dogs get to relax in a quiet home with soft beds, sunny spots to nap in, and a human who actually gets them. They go for sniffy walks, hang out on the couch, and settle into a routine that feels familiar and safe. Whether they’re social butterflies or more of the sensitive type, they get the space and attention they need to feel at ease.
